The Directorate of Innovation and Transfer at Universidad Finis Terrae aims to foster the generation, protection, and application of knowledge, technologies, and creations developed by our university community, promoting their connection with various sectors of society.
Our vision is to establish ourselves as a national benchmark in innovation management and technology transfer, building strategic networks and positioning the university as a key player in creating relevant solutions for the challenges facing the country.
This work is structured around four fundamental strategic pillars:
- The protection of research and creative results through intellectual property mechanisms.
- Support in managing projects with public and private funding in research, development, innovation, and entrepreneurship (R&D&I&E).
- Promoting the transfer of knowledge and technologies to society, industry, and the public sector.
- Guidance in the creation and development of science and technology-based companies.
Across all areas, we drive the strengthening of institutional capacities in applied research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, promoting a collaborative culture oriented toward sustainable development through training, outreach, and engagement activities.
These pillars form an institutional platform designed to maximize the impact of university knowledge on the country's development.
