Directorate of Artistic Creation

We understand the arts and creation as a form of situated knowledge, capable of raising questions, challenging certainties, and producing meaning in dialogue with its time.

We drive projects where creation and research intersect, activating collaborations between artists, academics, and students, and expanding the role of the arts within and beyond the university.

We fund our own initiatives and those in partnership with cultural institutions across the country, and we support creators and artists in developing their projects through the Cultural Donations Law, public funds, and other cultural financing mechanisms.

This work is organized through a collegiate structure that guides, supports, and projects artistic creation as a dynamic field, attentive to the social, cultural, and political contexts in which it operates.
